An idiom is a type of phrase or expression that has a meaning that can't be deciphered by defining the individual words.


Idiom:
come through (for someone)

Meaning:
to do what one is required or expected to do (often under difficult circumstances)

Example:
My friend will always come through for me when I need his help.
