An idiom is a group of words, or in other words, a phrase that has a meaning other than its literal meaning of the words in it.


Idiom:
not in the same league with (someone or something)

Meaning:
to be not nearly as good as someone or something

Example:
The new coach is not in the same league as the coach who we had last season.
