Idioms


An idiom is a group of words, or in other words, a phrase that has a meaning other than its literal meaning of the words in it.


Idiom:
not worth mentioning

Meaning:
to be not important enough to require a comment

Example:
The problem that we had with the manager was not worth mentioning so we did not say anything to anybody.
