An idiom is a type of phrase or expression that has a meaning that can't be deciphered by defining the individual words.


Idiom:
point the finger at (someone)

Meaning:
to blame someone for something, to identify someone as the guilty person

Example:
I did not point the finger at anyone but I wanted to know who broke the computer.
