An idiom is defined as - a group of words whose meaning is different from the meanings of the individual words.


Idiom:
twist (someone's) arm

Meaning:
to force or threaten someone to make them do something

Example:
My friend did not have to twist my arm to get me to go to the movie. I wanted to go anyway.
