Phrasal verbs are two or more words that come together to give us a new verb with a different meaning from the original words.
Phrasal Verb:
rinse someone or something off
Meaning:
to wash or clean someone or something by flushing with water or other fluid.
Example:
Mother rinsed the baby off and dried him with a soft towel.
Phrasal verbs are compound verbs that result from combining a verb with an adverb or a preposition. The resulting compound verb is idiomatic.
