Step 1: PMI Membership Both PMI Members and Non-members can apply for the examination. In both the case you will get your PMI membership number and your membership certificate will be mailed to you.
Step 2: Prepare your Resume Once you submit your membership application you can now start the resume preparation process. This is one of the time consuming activities. Although PMI accepts a current business resume it is advisable to prepare a resume in the format suggested by PMI. (Resume format as found in PMI web Site). Step 3: Complete your Exam Application Your exam application can be downloaded from PMI web site. Print multiple copies of the Experience verification forms.
Step 4: Mail Mail in your completed Application with Exam fee and wait for approval
