Phrasal Verb


Phrasal verbs are two or more words that come together to give us a new verb with a different meaning from the original words.


Phrasal Verb:
roll along

Meaning / Example:

1. [for wheels or something on wheels] to move along, smoothly and rapidly.
> The wheels of the cart rolled along, making a grinding noise as they went.

2. [for something] to progress smoothly.
> The project is rolling along nicely.
